Random Fact:

Coal Drops Yard, a new shopping district in King’s Cross has a long, varied and sometimes colourful history. Victorian London was a city powered by coal, and Coal Drops Yard was its coal store. The unusual buildings were built in the 1850s to handle the eight million tonnes of coal delivered to the capital each year. Since that time, the cobbled streets and brick arches have hosted markets, served as film sets and been the stomping ground for many a 90s clubber – for two decades, Bagley's was London’s biggest rave venue.
