Leadenhall Market, one of the City of London's oldest marketplaces announced earlier this year that to celebrate its dog friendly policy they would be hosting Dogstagram: the UK’s first ever pop-up photo station exclusive to dogs.

As an open air, covered Victorian market, the cobbled passageways are ideal for shoppers and diners wishing to bring their canine companion – who are welcome in all of the Market’s outdoor spaces, and many of its stores and restaurants. Well behaved pooches are welcome in Reiss, Barbour, Windsor Flowers, Shoeshine, The Lamb pub and all outside dining seating areas across the market.
About the Dogstagram Pop Up
The Dogstagram pop up which ended in October consisted of four photo stations where pups could choose a unique backdrop and all the props to bring the final snap to life. Themes include Jurassic Bark, Flower Pooch Patch, the Toy Box and Puparazzi Ready, so there was something to suit canines of all shapes and sizes!
Owners were also invited to enter their dog’s photos into a competition, for a chance to win a fabulous Barbour dog jacket, collar and lead, along with some luxury doggie treats. They simply had to upload their photo station picture to Instagram, making sure to tag #Leadenhalldogstagram. The winner was chosen by none other than famous food, travel and lifestyle photographer, David Loftus @davidloftus. David is also Dad to @DigbyLoftus - pictured visiting dog friendly Leadenhall Market.

Pups and their owners were also invited to browse the dog-friendly boutique restaurants and shops that the beautiful Victorian market has to offer, where they could find Woof & Brew Bottom Sniffer doggie ‘beer’ at the market’s oldest pub, The Lamb, Frozzy’s lickable frozen yoghurt at cheese experts and some delicious dog biscuits in British clothing brand Barbour.
We love strolling around Leadenhall Market with Vinnie and salute all the wonderful pet friendly brands that welcome us with our four legged family members. Here's hoping Dogstragram Pops Up again sometime soon, what fun.
