Overview: Winner of Lewisham's Community Space Business Award 2021, the Hill Station Café is a community space for locals, by locals. Not only do they have a hugely popular Café they also run events such as plays, music nights, creative workshops and art exhibitions. They have a wonderful little gift shop, selling items from over 50 local artists and creatives called The Hill Trader. Located opposite Telegraph Hill park, it's the perfect venue for a post dog walk coffee.
Random Fact:
All of the people who work in the Hill Trader Shop are volunteers. They work there as part exchange for their products being sold in the shop. It's a really lovely way to keep everything running and not having to pass on staffing costs.
