Marc Abraham, or 'Marc the Vet', is a multi-award-winning Veterinary Surgeon, Broadcaster, Author, and Animal Welfare Campaigner.

Marc set up PupAid in 2009, a national puppy farming awareness campaign, and is responsible for two of the biggest pet welfare government e-petitions of all time, supported by his relentless lobbying of MPs in Westminster. He is also co-founder and secretariat of the All-party Parliamentary Dog Advisory Welfare Group (APDAWG).

In June 2019, after leading a ten-year campaign, the Government passed Lucy's Law into English legislation, banning the commercial 3rd party trade in puppies and kittens, finally coming into effect in April 2020; and also becoming legislation in Scotland and Wales from September 2021.

Marc’s given pet advice on BBC Breakfast, This Morning, GMB, Sky News, BBC Daily Politics, BBC Panorama, as well as being Resident Vet on Paul O'Grady Show. He’s also written three books: Vet on Call, Pets in Need, and his latest about the Lucy’s Law campaign, which immediately topped the Amazon charts in three different categories.

Marc regularly visits local schools to teach pupils about caring for animals, and often appears on radio, online, and social media discussing news stories and raising awareness of important UK and global animal welfare issues.
