01 Foodbanks

We are currently working with Hackney foodbank, Bow foodbank & Greenwich foodbank, to support people who are struggling with their pets in the cost-of-living crisis, providing food, essentials, & funds. We have teamed up leading UK pet essential suppliers to help those with pets in their families.

Since opening 10 years ago Hackney foodbank has provided the ingredients for more than 100,000 meals to local people in financial crisis.

Hackney is the second most densely populated borough of London with a population of 281,100. In 2021 the foodbank had visits from 6900 people, distributing 189,969kg of emergency food parcels. We want to help them help those who have family pets by providing them with essential pet supplies for those who need them.

Bow Foodbank is a local Tower Hamlets charity established in 2014 by a group of local people, to respond to the need for emergency food supplies to those who are in crisis due to financial difficulty in the borough.

The clients at Bow and Bethnal Green food banks each have their own story as to how they came to need their services. A warm welcome is offered to all who come to visit them regardless of why they are in need. We aim to help them help those who have family pets by providing them with essential pet supplies for those who need them.

Greenwich Foodbank provides nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people in crisis across 9 centres in the Borough. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat hunger and poverty in the UK. We want to help them help those who have family pets by providing them with essential pet supplies for those who need them.
